Olsen Family

I absolutely loved this family! We did our photo session on top of Mount Tam in Marin County. This is a very sacred spot for the Olsen Family and I could feel their reverence for the area. My husband and son came along for the ride so we were able to do our own little family adventure at the same time. At the end of our session the husbands swaped e-mail addresses so they could hook up for some salmon fishing come May's run.

Sawyer

I love how cool these photos turned out! I shot these photos in my neighbor's living room with her very cool vintage chair. Sawyer's mom is one of my good buddies here in San Rafael. We not only are neighbors here and both from Arizona but our husbands are also in dental school together. Sawyer was so good for our photo session and as you can see, he is one of the most beautiful newborns!

Seema's Mendhi

This was one of two Indian wedding events I shot for Seema and her husband Rahul. It was absolutely amazing to participate in their Mendhi in which the women paint henna on each others hands and bodies (I even got my own Indian mango painted on the top of my hand). The evening before I photographed the Sangeet. They performed some of the most beautiful dancing I have ever seen.
